The Employment tab is where you assign employee's their Employee groups, Payroll Calendar, Ordinary Earnings Rate and Super Funds

You can assign each employee to a different employee group. This is relevant if you'd like to track the performance of different divisions within your organisation.

Employee Group

You can assign each employee to a different employee group. This is relevant if you'd like to track the performance of different divisions within your organisation.

Payroll Calendar

You must link each employee to a Payroll Calendar. So make sure you have all your calendars in place.

Ordinary Earnings Rate

Finally, don't forget to select which is going to be the ordinary earnings rate for that employee. This is crucial for Leave Entitlements calculations, since they are all made according to the standard pay/ ordinary earnings.

 

Superannuation

At the bottom of the page under the Employment tan you see the Superannuation section. This is where you will need to add a Superfund for each of your employee's. First, click on the Add a Fund button

From the Fund drop down menu choose a fund from the superfunds you previously set up. Don't forget to add an Employee Number!
