Number of Employees

Subscriptions are based on the number of active employees.

This means they are based on the number of employees paid during the month your subscription lasts.

So, here is an example:

Your company has 32 employees listed in Paycycle.

Most of them are casual and an Average of 18 employees are paid/ processed per month.

Hence, the medium subscription (up to 20 employees) would do perfectly fine.

The same applies for the other way around...

Say you have 5 employees, and you are under the Micro Plan (up to 5 employees).

You process them in the first run of the month.

You then terminate one employee, and employ a new person.

In the second pay of the month, you'll be trying to process the 6th employee for that full month. Therefore, Paycycle will tell you "Sorry, you need to upgrade". If this is the case, you might have to upgrade for that month, and afterwards you can easily downgrade. No questions asked!
