Who is the clearance house?

Paycycle partnered with ClickSuper to enable Automatic Super Payments.

ClickSuper has been developed by Cuscal, Australia's leading provider of transactional banking and superannuation solutions to more than 150 specialist financial services institutions.

Is it secure?

Very!

Payments that are made to funds within our Superannuation catalog are very secure. If you choose to pay a self managed fund, make sure you add all the correct details.

Authorisation of payments is made via 2 factor authentication and the registration form makes it possible for you to nominate only the person responsible for the bank account within your organisation to authorise payments.

Can I pay self managed superannuation funds?

Self Managed Super Funds are also handled within Paycycle.

Your employee will need to supply bank account details and the ABN of the fund, and when establishing the new fund within Paycycle, simply choose “Self Managed Superannuation Fund”.

When will funds reach a Superannuation Fund?

As long as the payment batch is authorised and approved before 1pm on a business day, funds will reach the various Superannuation funds included in the payment batch in 3 business days.

What if I have only 19 employees or less?

You can still upgrade to a Medium subscription regardless of the number of employees in your organisation. This functionality is only available for Medium subscribers and above due to the costs that we incur on behalf of our customers with third parties.

What about contributions that I’ve already made?

When commencing with Paycycle’s Automatic Superannuation Payments you can choose a date in which you’d like to commence payments from.

In the form entitled “Paycycle Automatic Superannuation Payments Registration” you’ll notice a date required underneath “Commence Automatic Superannuation Payments from”.

We won’t include any Superannuation liabilities that have been accrued prior to this date in your list of Superannuation payments that are to be made. Therefore, the date that you choose should correspond with the day after the last payrun in which you made manual payment to your employees' Superannuation funds.

If your organisation is brand new and you’ve never made Superannuation contributions on behalf of your employees, feel free to leave that blank.

How are payments authorised?

The authorisor is the nominated person responsible for the bank account within your organization. When a payment batch is submitted for authorisation, the authorisor will receive an SMS with an authorization code. For more detail, you can check the Authorisation article.
