Timesheets Overview

This article will provide you with an overview of the Timesheets tab

Accessing Timesheets

To access timesheets from anywhere in Paycycle simply go to the payroll tab and choose Timesheets from the dropdown menu.

Once on the timesheets page you have many the option to:

1. Create a New Timesheet
2. View a past Timesheet

You can also filter your view of past timesheets by Calendar, Period, Employee or Status.

To add a new Timsheet hit click on the Add Timesheet button.

Next, a pop-up window will appear asking you to choose the employee and pay period you would like this timesheet to apply to.

You'll be prompted with an empty timesheet for the employee, that you'll be able to modify and change as you wish.

Filling out the Timesheet

To fill out the timesheet you will need to choose an Earnings Rate and Tracking Category.
If you wish to have more the one Earnings Rate or Tracking Category in the timesheet click on Add another line.
Timesheets appear in a weekly format. If the pay period includes more than one week you can move on to the next week by clicking on the arrows at the top of the page.
Once, you are done editing the timesheet you can either save it as a draft and come back to edit it later or submit the timesheet
NOTE: In Paycyle hours are recording in decimals. If an employee works seven and a half hours it should be recorded as 7.5

Submitting the Timesheet

Once, the timesheet is submitted the information will be carried across to the corresponding pay run.

If you wish to go back and edit this timesheet you can do so by clicking on the Revert to Draft button.
