An ABA (or Australian Banking Association) file is a standard introduced by Australian Banks when uploading data to Internet Banking systems.

This file contains the payment instructions for the bank, especially helpful when paying multiple accounts out of one single account.

For example, as an employer you have 1 bank account but 5 employees. Instead of manually depositing your employees' wages every pay period, download the corresponding ABA file which will have the payment instructions.

If you want to use the ABA file for bulk payments, first you will need to fill in your ABA & APCA Details.

Once you have filled in those details, to get your ABA file you will need to post a Pay Run. Once you have done this, you can export your ABA file for upload to your internet banking service of choice.
